Release date for Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown
The game will be released on September 12, 2024 on PC, Xbox X|S, PS5 and can already be pre-ordered on Steam!
TDU:SC is a racing game set in Hong Kong, developed by KT Racing and published by Nacon. The Test Drive Unlimited brand had created its own market niche over time with the release of the titles TDU1 and TDU2, published in 2006 and 2011.
Certainly not as well known as the more famous Need For Speed Underground, Underground 2 and Most Wanted, it has always been a valid member of the racing simulator group: while remaining in the Arcade genre like NFS, it also has many aspects of a role-playing game, because it involves creating a character and completing several missions.
The settings are generally very realistic and also much more livable than other similar games: we can enter a real dealership and buy a car, but also buy a house from a real estate agency. Furthermore, in previous versions it was also possible to purchase a motorbike and have specific races dedicated to the type of vehicle we were driving.
