How to unstuck the Over my Dead Bodies quest bug in Tainted Grail: Fall of Avalon

Over my Dead Bodies bug in Tainted Grail: FoA

So recently I got stuck in a bug with the quest Over my Dead Bodies in Fall of Avalon. I probably found Caelum's journal and research before the right time and that got me stuck in a situation where I couldn't proceed anymore. Other similar bugs could be encountered with the same quest, and with a few other quests too.

Here is how to solve it, depending on your case:

You will need to download two mods from NexusMods, an account is required to download from there:

• BepinEx for TG FoA
• Cheat Console Enabler

Alternatively, you can download them from our website, but please consider that they might be not up to date with latest version from NexusMod: Bepinex, Cheat Console Enabler.

You need to extract the first one in your game folder, and the second one inside the folder Bepinex that gets created after extracting the first mod. Just follow the instructions from NexusMods and you will be fine.

Restart the game if you are playing, and then press F3 to open the console.

Here are the commands I used in the console:

# This will mark as complete the objective about investigating the place:
quest.objective-complete LocateCaelumsResearch

# This will make you return to Taranis after you collected Caelum's journal and research:
quest.objective-activate ReturnToTaranis

After that, I just returned to Taranis and completed the quest. I hope this works for you too!
