Setting Bennet free from Prison in Gothic 2
So Bennet has been arrested for murdering a Paladin in Khorinis, and is now in prison.
Here is what you need to do in order to set him free:
- Go to Lord Hagen's mansion, in the upper quarter, turn right to find some stairs and go upstairs
- Find Cornelius and talk to him
- Talk with Cornelius and threaten him until he gives you his diary, even knocking him down if necessary
- If you prefer paying for the diary, you can then follow him to the bandit's Cave near Xardas Tower, on the road going to Lobart's farm, and then knock him down there and take back your gold
- Read the diary and speak with Lord Hagen
- When Bennet is free you can then talk to Lee at Onar's farm
- Additionally, you can now rank up and become a Paladin or a Dragon Hunter
As a reward, if you are a mage or paladin Bennet will give you the Amulet of Life, that will grant you +40 hitpoints. Otherwise, if you are a Dragon Hunter, he will give you a Light Dragon Hunter Armor.
