Gothic 2: Where to Find the Black Troll and the Sun Aloe

Finding the Black Troll in Gothic 2

There is only one single black troll in all the game! Raoul from Onar's farm will also ask you to find its skin. Sagitta, the herborist close to Sekob's farm, will ask you to find some Sun Aloe for her. These two quests are linked together, because the Sun Aloe is located right inside the cave of the Black Troll.

So, where to find both of them?

In short:

• Reach Grimbald close to the great lake in the north. In the map shown below, the black troll is marked by the red circle and is exactly to the north, close to where you recover the Eye of Innos the first time
• When you enter the cave, the Black Troll will attack you, it will not be easy to take him down but its attack pattern is quite easy. You can just go back when he attacks you, at the right moment, so you will not receive damage, watch the video above to see how to do that. Then, land two or three blows to take him down little by little. Be patient.
• Inside the cave you will also find the Sun Aloe for Sagitta, it is located right on the left when you enter the cave
